DFC 1210

A typical semi automated dissolution system DFC-1210 is composed of a PTWS 1210 high head, synchronous stirrer start Dissolution Bath with built-in printer, auto vessel centring bath cover, electrical drive head lift, full tubing installation in PTFE. For sampling the EPE auto sampling system in which the sampling tubes are only immersed inside the dissolution media while sampling only may be used and a manual Tablet Drop Magazine for synchronous tablet introduction.

Features:

  • PTWS 1210 dissolution bath equipped with paddle mono-shaft stirrers, aothers available, including Method filing system
  • EPE Auto Sampling system with 12 sampling tubes and PP Filters
  • 1 Manual Tablet Magazine and auto vessel centring and sealing covers
  • PTFC12 fraction collector and 140 vials

DFC 610

The DFC 610 is equipped with a TM manual tablet drop magazine, the EPE automated sampling manifold, which lowers the sampling tubes into the vessels while sampling and rises them at the end of a cycle out of the media. The EPE can be equipped with an ITM individual media temperature probe system, recording the media temperature while sampling.

Features:

  • PTWS 610 dissolution bath equipped with paddle mono-shaft stirrers, others available, including Method filing system
  • EPE Auto Sampling system with 8 sampling tubes and PP Filters
  • ITM Media Temperature Measuring System (optional device)
  • Manual Tablet Magazine and auto vessel centring and sealing covers
  • Built-in Printer, prints Test Report at the end of a run

DFC 820

The offline DFC systems include a fraction collector or an auto sampler which will collect the sampled dissolution media. The semi-automated DFC-820SP system is composed of a PTWS 820D staggered stirrer start dissolution bath with built-in individual vessel centering, full tubing installation in PTFE including either in-situ sampling probes or the EPE-820 auto sampling system, a PT-SP8 syringe pump, and a PTFC 2/8 fraction collector.

Features:

  • The system automates the taking of samples, the most labor intensive stage of a dissolution test
  • 8 stirred positions
  • Automated sampling eliminates human errors, as equal sampling times and standardized solvent transport offer high reproducibility
  • Excellent reproducibility of sampling volumes and times
  • Offers unattended operation after start of dissolution run
